Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale

This post is two combines hauls of what I bought at the Semi-Annual Sale for Bath and Body works. I went to two different locations.

Haul One:

Haul #2:

I'm not going to list out everything I got because I think the pictures are big enough to see everything (and because most everything in this haul is back at home). I will say that so far my favorites are: I <3 Watermelon Cherry (separate post on that here and here), the Orange Sapphine Shower Gel which smells AMAZING and is in my shower now. I also love the little cupcake scent portable. If you haven't seen their new line of Spring scent portable holder, you NEED to go check them out. They are literally the cutest things! I personally love the little elephant and the pink flamingo.

If you have any questions about what something is or if I can do a review on an item, just post in the comments below!

Here are a couple of my past Bath and Body Works Hauls too, if that's your kind of thing: Online Order and  the last semi-annual Sale

Black Friday Haul Part 3: Bath and Body Works

Black Friday wouldn't be complete without a Bath and Body Works Haul. Here we go...
My main reason for going was to get two of these night light wall flowers. My parents each asked for one of these so that they can put them around the house or in their bathrooms and not have to turn the lights on during the night. I got one in gold and one in clear so that they could each pick their favorite.

Next I got 4 soaps for my bathroom at college. I got Fresh Picked Apples, Sea Island Cotton, Kitchen Lemon with the Christmas packaging, and Cranberry Tangerine. I am literally on my last soap bottle at school, and I figured these would last me for a while!

I also got some wallflowers for my college dorm room. I got Fresh Linen 2 pack and Fresh Balsam which is my favorite Christmas scent. These are also both non-intruding enough scents that my picky roommate can't possibly have a problem with. I also got her the Fresh Balsam room spray as part of her Christmas gift. She loves Christmas, and that way she can have her room smell like Christmas all year long.

Last, I got the VIP bag. It came with everything pictured above. I love getting these around Christmas time. It makes for some easy gifts without having to go crazy smelling everything. They also usually put in their newest products, so the gifts that you are giving people from these bags are the newest things. Plus, if you have never tried something yourself, it's a great way to get one cheap without having put too much money into something you might hate.

Amazingly enough, that's all I got! Check back soon to see another part of my Black Friday hauls!

Beauty Blogger Influenster Unboxing and Mini Reviews

I've had this box for a while now, and yes, I'm just now getting around to doing an unboxing! This is the Beauty Blogers 2012 Voxbox and it looks like this:

This was the car that cam with it. If you are interested in the specifics, you can just click and zoom :)

Here's what came in the box. I haven't tried everything out yet, but I will include a mini-review of the things I have gotten to try out!

This first item is the E-Boost Energy booster. I didn't know how I'd feel about this when I first got it, because I'm not a huge fan of energy drinks and such, but it does look like it is going to be healthy and not harmful, so I am definitely going to give it a shot. I have not tried this product out, though, because I am waiting for a night where I am pulling an all-nighter. I wonder if these things have expiration dates...?

This next item is the NYC color palette. I got the limited edition shadow palette, but some other members received a different color palette for brown eyes. I kind of wish that I had received that one, because I don't use these colors often, but now that I am thinking about it, I don't have these colors in my collection, so they should make for some new combos with the browns that I already have.
The palette had really nice pigmentation for the price, but there was some fall-out. I think you can tell in the picture that there was already some sparkles floating around in the package, and it started mixing with the highlighter and base. Oh well. It's still cool, and it was free :)

These next two items, well one was an item and one was a coupon, but they are from Bath and Body Works. I have to say, when I got the box and saw BBW products, I about died because I was so excited. I am OBSESSED with the smell of this candle. I immediately wanted to burn it, but alas, I can't because my stupid dorm room won't allow me too...It's packed up though and ready to come home with me during Thanksgiving. I'm super excited!

This is the Kiss Ever Pro Lashes kit. I have never used lashes before, but I was pleasantly surprised with how easy these were to apply. I haven't worn them anywhere yet, but I did play with them, and I really enjoyed them. They look really natural, so I shouldn't have any trouble making them work for everyday or for a date night ;)

Next, we have the Goody Simple Styles Spin Pins. These are supposed to make wearing a bun super simple. I was really excited to try these because I'd seen them before but just never picked the up. I was kind of disappointed, though. My hair (as pictured above) is not super thick, and so my buns are always really small. You can see in the picture that the pins stuck out of my hair because they were too big. I think it's going to be okay, though. I am growing my hair out longer, and I think when it gets back to it's usual long length, I will be able to use the pins again without them sticking out.

This was the last item in the box. It's the Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream. I was SO excited to get this! I know some people got the curly hair one, but that would not have helped me much because my hair is naturally wavy, but not super curly. This worked pretty well I think for the one time that I've tested it out. I tend to use this product when I know it's going to be humid outside to at least try to combat my frizzy hair. Humidity usually makes the situation a LOT worse, but this worked well in taming my hair.

That's all that was in the box :) I'm glad I could finally share it with you all! I did get these items for free from Influenster, but these reviews are completely honest, as I'm sure you can tell. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll see you all with the next blog post!

Glade Expressions Collections

I showed these in a Target haul a while ago. They are the Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser and Room Spray.

My room spray is in Fuji Apple and Cardamom Spice , which is the only one I have a picture of.
I really like the room spray. It was VERY fragrant and it filled the room up with a fragrance quickly, and stay ed in the air for a while. What I didn't like was the top. I originally bought one in the cotton fragrance, and when I brought it home and went to spray it, the spray was broken. I had to take the spray back to Target and exchange it. When I went back to the isle to get a new one to exchange it for, I started trying to spray the others in the store and realized that a lot of them (every 1 out of 3) wouldn't spray. They were broken. It was kind of frustrating, so if you go to buy it, I definitely suggest spraying it in the store to make sure that it works. They do have 4 really good scent options though, and I think you can find something for everyone.

The diffuser was in the scent Lavender and Juniper Berry. This thing smells wicked amazing. I have been a die-hard fan of the Wallflowers from Bath and Body Works for about a year now, and they just don't compare to this diffuser. The scent was strong since day one, and it looks really classy in my dorm room. Literally, EVERYONE who walks in mentions that my room smells so good compared to normal dorm rooms. The only downside is that you can't unplug it or turn it off to conserve the diffuser liquid, so after almost a month it was completely empty. But the refills are about $2 cheaper than the starter kit, so I figure I'll just go back to Target and get a new one of these. Definitely in the same scent, though, because I loved it so much.

Have you tried these yet? And will you? Let me know!

Disclaimer: I am a BzzAgent, and they sent me coupons for a free starter kit to try these products out. This is a completely honest review, as you can tell, and I will be repurchasing these with my own money.

Bath and Body Works Mini Haul

Here is just a small haul from Bath and Body Works that I bought a couple of weeks ago. I know, it's kind of late, but better late than never, right?
Here's what I got:

This is from the September 15th party that they had for their Fall scents. They did a special on candles (2 for $20) and they also were giving away a $9.50 candle in Pumpkin Carving as well as the little bag that is underneath it. The only catch is that you had to buy a home fragrance item to get the free gift.
It just so happened that my roommate and I needed another wallflower bulb at the same time. Usually, I buy them in bulk, and I have a bunch at home ready to come back to college with me, but I can't bring them back until Christmas because that's the only time I'm not flying home. So, I went and bought one bulb, and that should last us for another month. I'm sure they will have another special going on in a month, so I'll go back then if I need another one. The bulb I got is in the scent Autumn. It kind of smells like Leaves but it's more apple-y smelling. It's an amazing scent! As for the Pumpkin Carving candle, it will probably be a gift to someone, because I don't really burn candles. It smells so tasty though!!!

Did you end up going to the party? If so, what did you buy?

Another Bath and Body Works Haul

Bath and Body Works. Another place I shouldn't be allowed to go in. This is from a different store than my last haul, though, so that's how I justified it.  So I thought I'd share my small haul.

As you can see, I got another I heart Watermelon Cherry hand soap, as well as a Paris in Bloom shower Gel and Body Spray.
The Soap was $2.50 on clearance, and it just smelled so good that I couldn't pass it up.
I also had a coupon for buy $10, and get a free signature item. So I paid the $14 for the body spray, and got the shower gel for free.

I'm going to be smelling good today!!!

Have you tried the new Paris line? What's your favorite scent from the collection?

Bath and Body Works Fall Festival Today!

Bath and Body Works wants you to join them TODAY, Saturday, September 15th from 1-5pm at participating stores to celebrate Fall!

They will be giving out a free gift with any Home Fragrance purchase (excluding clearance items!) The free gift will be a Limited Edition Pumpkin Carving Small Candle and gift bag.

I think I am going to head over there, because my roommate and I are out of scent portable refills. I can get one refill and the free gift, and it will hold us over until I can go home and bring back some new scent fragrances.

Will you be heading over there?

Then, click on the post from Bath and Body Works that says REDEEM free item. Facebook will send the free offer coupon to your facebook E-mail for you to print out and take to your nearest Bath and Body Works store. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY!

This expires on September 9th!

I think I'll be heading by Bath and Body Works tomorrow while I'm out to pick up this little gem :) How about you?

**Suggestion: Even if you don't like the scent, get it anyways. They make great gifts to friends!

BBW Online Order

As if shopping in the stores wasn't enough, I had to go online while they were still doing their buy 3 get 3 free offer. My excuse: there were a couple of shower gels that I wanted that were online only. And I had another "Spend $10 and get a signature item for free." So, I only had to pay for 2 of these 6 items, which is pretty good. I did pay shipping though, which was $4.99.

Isn't the box cute!? As you can see, I ordered 6 shower gels. This was my first purchase from BBW online, simply because their shipping was super cheap, and of course because I wanted a couple of gels that I couldn't get in the store, like I said before. Here's a detailed look at what I got:

Left to Right: Paris Nights, Paris in Bloom, and Love Love Love.
Left to Right: Wild Honeysuckle (Online only), Paris Amour, and Honey Autumn Apple (online only).

I'm super happy with everything. I had never smelled Honey Autumn Apple before, but I think it will be a big hit! It reminds me so much of Fall, and I can't wait to use it. As for the others, I had smelled them all in the stores, so I knew I'd love them. And Paris Amour is an old favorite :)

Clearly, I have a problem, and WAY too many shower gels in my dorm room than I can possibly use up this year. Can you say ADDICTION!?

Bath and Body Works Haul!

My roommate and I went shopping today to celebrate a long weekend, so here is a small haul from Bath and Body Works:
I really just went into BBW to smell the new fall scents as well as the new Paris collection. There was a small 50% off table, which I found these on. I honestly didn't even hear of this I heart Watermelon line, but it was there in Cherry, Apple, and Basil. The cherry one smelled the best in my opinion, so that's the one I got. I bought the shower gel (left) and the foaming soap (right).

I also got one of those receipts that allow you to get $10 off a $30 purchase, so I redeemed that code. I think I want to go back during their buy 3 get 3 free and get the Paris Amour shower gel and the new Paris flowers spray and gel. The only problem is that I don't know what else for the 3 free. Leave me a comment down below as to what I should get!

Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Haul

Today, I thought I'd share with you all my haul from the semi-annual sale at Bath and Body Works. I bought a LOT of stuff, but it was all super cheap because of the sale! Here is the damage that I did:

Yeah, I have a serious addiction. Bath and Body Works support group, anyone? The saddest thing is that I took this picture and then realized that I forgot to include a couple of things, so my haul is even bigger than what I included here, not to mention the wall flower bulbs that I bought for my parents! Oh goodness...

Anyways, I figured I'd list off what I got for you all since there was so much to include in the picture!

Pocketbac Holders: Blue holder with a green handle, pink/white/yellow with a pink handle, yellow/white/green with a yellow handle, and a really pretty pale pink one that has little beads in light pink, orange, and yellow
Pocketbacs: Wildberry Dahlia, California Poppy, Papaya Melon Scoop, Pink Daisy (this one smells AMAZING!!!), and Lemon Sunshine Slush.
I've made the mistake in the past of getting sugary food scents, and it makes me sick to try and eat with that smell on my hands, so I've opted for either fresh clean scents, or fruity scents.
Mini Body Sprays: Wild Berry Tulips, Wild Citrus Sunflower, and Wild Apple Daffodil.
This entire spring line was amazing, which is why I had to buy one of each of the sprays, and I'm going to miss these scents since they have been discontinued :(
Mini Shower Gels: (2) Malibu Heat (which sounds kind of dirty, to be honest), and 1 Wild Citrus Sunflower.
Shower Gels: Butterfly Flower, Rays of Citrus, Wild Berry Tulips, Velvet Tuberose, Wild Citrus Sunflower (3), Wild Honeysuckle, and Enchanted Orchid.
Body Sprays: Wild Berry Tulips, and Wild Citrus Sunflower. I know I bought the minis of these, but these are now my go-to every day scents. I've made a nice dent in the Wild Berry Tulips, which is from my first BBW haul, and when I realized how much I liked it, I went back and got the minis. It's an addiction, I know.
Wallflower Refills: White Citrus and Fresh Cotton. I like my room smelling all nice and clean.
Foaming Hand Soaps: Fresh Picked Raspberries, Raspberry Pink Peony, Wildberry Hibiscus, White Citrus.
Deep Cleansing Hand Soap: Wildberry Hibiscus, Wild Honeysuckle, Tropical Papaya.

What I forgot to take a picture of: Scent portable refills in Fresh Cotton (they are odor neutralizing and go in my car. These keep my car from smelling like Chick-Fil-A when I bring it home in my car!), and a mini lotion in the scent Wild Citrus Sunflower. I wasn't joking when I said I loved the Wild Spring line.

Honestly, now that I look at it, it doesn't look like I did that much damage. I could have done a lot worse, and I used coupons on all of them. I also got 6 coupons for a free signature item with a $10 purchase, which is available to use in July, and a coupon for free shipping (although I usually don't order BBW online). All in all, it was a wonderful sale, and I'm looking forward to whatever BBW has in store for their fall and winter collections.

Bath and Body Works is a great company. I've never had any problem with them, and I'd definitely recommend shopping there if you get a chance!

Disclaimer: I purchase all of this with my own money. Bath and Body Works didn't pay me to show you all this nor are they paying me to mention them as a company. I get nothing from this haul except an excuse to buy more products...

Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale!

The Bath and Body Works semi-annual sale is going on now and ending soon! If you are a bath and body works addict like me and need your monthly fix, I suggest hitting them up this week! I've done a lot of shopping there in the last couple of weeks, and I will be posting a haul from there, but I just thought that I'd tell you all that there is only one week of the sale left if you are interested!

Also, Bath and Body Works is doing a special buy 3, get 3 free of their signature collection. They've never run a buy 3 get 3 free during their sale, and they don't do this kind of a discount on their signature collection often, so if there is something that you wanted that wasn't part of the sale, head over their now!

You can also shop the sale online at bathandbodyworks.com :). Enjoy!

I've got lots of posts coming up for July so stay tuned and please subscribe to my blog! Thanks :)

Bath and Body Works Spring Collection

I recently went to a Bath and Body Works while I was in town for spring break and OH MY GOSH. They have their spring collection out and it smells fantastic! I usually go in when I hear about their new collections, smell everything, and then come back when I know I have lots to buy. Bath and Body Works is kind of expensive, but if you are buying in bulk, it's worth it (when they have sales going on!). I bought a couple of wallflower bulb refills for the wallflowers that are at my parent's house. While I was there, I stumbled upon this:
Bath and Body Works Wallflower in White Dogwood
This is one of the new Wallflowers and it's super cute! I couldn't leave the store without it! I ended up getting 5 bulb refills and this wallflower. With the current deal that Bath and Body Works had, I got each item for $4, which is a steal because each refill bulb costs $6.50 and the wallflower itself cost $8.50! I already have a wallflower at home and at my dorm room, but the one at my dorm gets exposed to the weather outside a lot and it's getting a little...gross to put it simply. I'm going to save this new wallflower for my dorm next semester. The white flower design is very versatile and it will match my roommate's and my comforters well since they both have a flower print.

If you haven't already, go smell the new collection at Bath and Body Works! I'm addicted to that place, and their new collection is really amazing! There's definitely something for everyone in their Spring collection.
Bath and Body Works Fresh Picked Tangerines
Alert: Bath and Body Works is right now having a huge sale on their hand soaps: 5 for $15 or 7 for $20, which is better than having to pay $5.50 each regularly. I'd suggest trying their Fresh Picked Tangerines or Kitchen Lemon. Those are two of my favorites!

Happy scents and happy shopping!
-Katie
