Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale

This post is two combines hauls of what I bought at the Semi-Annual Sale for Bath and Body works. I went to two different locations.

Haul One:

Haul #2:

I'm not going to list out everything I got because I think the pictures are big enough to see everything (and because most everything in this haul is back at home). I will say that so far my favorites are: I <3 Watermelon Cherry (separate post on that here and here), the Orange Sapphine Shower Gel which smells AMAZING and is in my shower now. I also love the little cupcake scent portable. If you haven't seen their new line of Spring scent portable holder, you NEED to go check them out. They are literally the cutest things! I personally love the little elephant and the pink flamingo.

If you have any questions about what something is or if I can do a review on an item, just post in the comments below!

Here are a couple of my past Bath and Body Works Hauls too, if that's your kind of thing: Online Order and  the last semi-annual Sale

October Target Haul

I'm almost done with my old backed up blog posts! (that sounded kind of wrong. Oh well...)

This is a Target Haul from November. I'm not going to go through everything I got, but I did want to show it to you because there are a couple of things in here that are staples in my closet now and a couple of items that will show up in future blog posts.

First notice the leggings that I got from Target. I think at the time I bought three pairs, but I ended up returning one of them because I didn't like the fake jeans look. I did keep the all black one as well as the black one that has fleece on the inside. The fleece one is my favorite! It has kept me so warm this winter, and I literally want to go back to Target and get two more pairs!

I'd also like to point out the little baskets that the leggings are perched in. There is one in pink and one (harder to see) in purple. These have been a crucial part of my dorm organization, and they came from the $1 section! I wish I had bought more, because I really loved them. The little pink containers by the toothbrushes in the front are also being used to organize my things, and they were from the same section.

The last thing is the hunger games costume. This ended up getting returned because it was too big, but Target didn't seem to carry anything smaller. It was really annoying.

As for the rest of it, it's kind of self-explanatory.

Black Friday Haul Part 3: Bath and Body Works

Black Friday wouldn't be complete without a Bath and Body Works Haul. Here we go...
My main reason for going was to get two of these night light wall flowers. My parents each asked for one of these so that they can put them around the house or in their bathrooms and not have to turn the lights on during the night. I got one in gold and one in clear so that they could each pick their favorite.

Next I got 4 soaps for my bathroom at college. I got Fresh Picked Apples, Sea Island Cotton, Kitchen Lemon with the Christmas packaging, and Cranberry Tangerine. I am literally on my last soap bottle at school, and I figured these would last me for a while!

I also got some wallflowers for my college dorm room. I got Fresh Linen 2 pack and Fresh Balsam which is my favorite Christmas scent. These are also both non-intruding enough scents that my picky roommate can't possibly have a problem with. I also got her the Fresh Balsam room spray as part of her Christmas gift. She loves Christmas, and that way she can have her room smell like Christmas all year long.

Last, I got the VIP bag. It came with everything pictured above. I love getting these around Christmas time. It makes for some easy gifts without having to go crazy smelling everything. They also usually put in their newest products, so the gifts that you are giving people from these bags are the newest things. Plus, if you have never tried something yourself, it's a great way to get one cheap without having put too much money into something you might hate.

Amazingly enough, that's all I got! Check back soon to see another part of my Black Friday hauls!

Black Friday Haul Part 2: Vera Bradley!

I went to Vera Bradley on Black Friday too. Their specials? Spend $100 and get a free holiday printed tote bag as well as 30% off certain colors.
Here's what I got:

This is the Holiday Tote. In this first picture, you can see the color for what it truly is. The bottom picture shows you how tall it is. it's more of a purse than a tote, and it's already going to be given to someone for Christmas. I won't say who just in case they are reading this ;).

Next, is what I actually bought.
This little girl above is the light of my life :) I've wanted to get a hipster for SO long, and I finally caved and got one. I wasn't going to get this color, but they discontinued the one I wanted (it had Tea in the name) so, I went and looked at the ones on sale and this one caught my eye. It goes perfectly with jeans because it's a navy blue color, but it's also got the pops of purple that I really liked. I got this one for $45 instead of the original price that is listed on the tag. I literally left the store and put all of my belongings into this little girl and toted her around as my purse for the rest of the day!

Next, I got two Zip ID cases. I REALLY needed to replace the old one that I had, and I liked both of these colors, so I got them both. I'm using the one on the left right now, and then I will probably save the one on the right until the one I am using now gets gross looking. These little cases have saved my life over the years, and they are a MUST if you are a college student. For real.

Last, but certainly not least is this Large Cosmetic case in the color Lime's Up. I've had my eye on this print for a while now and I just loved the way it looked on these cases. I mainly got this so that I could put my hairbrush and toothbrush in the same bag as all of my other stuff instead of having to put them on their own in my suitcase. They get lost, get things wet, etc. and it just was no fun. So, I got this bag. And, I travel a lot from home and back, so this is something I can get a lot of use out of.

That's all from Vera Bradley this time! I wish their stuff was cheaper so that I could buy more of it and buy it more frequently. But that's okay :) This was a gift to myself.

Stay tuned until next time where I haul more of my Black Friday purchases!

(LATE) Black Friday Haul!- Target

Here is a super late Black Friday Haul! I went to Target first...

We went at 9pm to Target and we always do this to get all of the past DVDs on sale. It's so much cheaper! Here's what we got: This Means War, The Avengers, The Lucky One (SO EXCITED FOR THIS ONE!), Crazy Stupid Love, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Battleship,
New Year's Eve, Bridesmaids, Moneyball, Friends with Benefits, Snow White and the Huntsman, Tower Heist, Sherlock Holmes number 2, American Reunion, and Captain America.

I also bought Unbroken by Demi Lovato and two sets of headphones because the two sets that I have were getting really gross and destroyed.

Tomorrow, you will see part 2 of the Black Friday Haul!

Target Haul

I wanted to show you all another Target haul, but I wanted to talk about the reasoning behind these hauls as well. I did the college series, and I think it went pretty well, but I wasn't at college the entire time the series was going on, so I couldn't show you a lot of what was going on or what I was buying. I think these Target hauls are a good chance to show you guys what I've bought, and kind of "what do college kids eat and buy for their dorms." Hope that makes sense, and I hope you guys enjoy reading about these hauls as much as I like shopping at Target!

Now, on to the haul! Here is everything that I bought. Understand that the only things that were on my list were the detergent and the gum.

I bought some new headbands for my hair. They were like $2 off in the clearance area. I don't why, but I bought them anyways! They are my favorite hair bands, and I lost all of my other ones.

I needed some gum. So I tried this one.

I blogged about these a while ago. You can find that post here. This is the first time I've ever seen these at my Target store, so I picked them up. They will make some great morning snacks on my way to class.

I was craving some cashews. So I bought them. Whoops. And they are already opened. I couldn't even wait until the picture was taken to chow down. I was starving...

I was craving these too. I got them in pretzel, regular cheddar, and Parmesan. I've already opened the pretzel ones, and I'm eyeing the Parmesan.

This was actually on my list. Well, what was on my list was the mini surf detergent boxes. They didn't have that. So I got this. Which is made for high efficiency washers, so now I need to return it and get the right ones. Darn it!

This is from the Bzzcampaign that I'm a part of. I got it for free to try it out. The first one that I got was the cotton mandarin one, but I returned it because the top wouldn't spray AND because my roommate doesn't like orange scents. So yea.

That's all! let me know what you got last time you went to Target!

Plato's Closet Haul

Ever been to Plato's Closet? I hadn't until Labor Day weekend! The idea behind Plato's Closet is that you can go and sell your clothes to them, they give you money for them, and then people can buy them. It's like Half Price books, but for clothes. They only accept well-known label items, though, which is good and bad. It does mean that their clothes aren't dirt cheap. They are a little more expensive for already worn clothes, but if you look hard enough, you can find some treasures! Here is what I bought for $151 (including tax)!

*I apologize in advance for the picture quality. There isn't as much light as I would have liked. By the time I got back to my dorm that day, the sun was setting and I was racing against the sun to get these pictures taken!

This is a sweater dress from Derek Heart. It's grey and navy blue stripes. I thought it would be cute for fall with some boots and tights, and it would let me keep wearing dresses in the fall without freezing.
I paid $8 for it.

This is a pair of jeans from Old Navy. They are the dark wash Flirt style. They fit me like a glove, and since they are pre-worn, I don't have to break them in! I paid $12 for them.

This is a chartreuse yellow shirt from a store called Elle. It's got ruffles on the top and it's super flow-y on the bottom. I paid $7 for it.

This is such a cute skirt from Express! It's just a ruffled skirt with an exposed zipper on the back. It's fits me amazingly! I paid $10 for it.

This is a pair of jeans from American Eagle. They are a straight leg, but they fit me like skinny jeans, so I can wear them with boots. They are super comfy, which is why I was willing to pay $17 for them. This was the most expensive item I bought.

This super cute flow-y grey top is from American Eagle as well. It's a triangle cut, with the front and back points longer than the side (I tried to show that in the first picture, but it's more apparent in the second picture!). It was $7.

These are just two belts that I bought. The brown one is from BDG. It was a little loose in the waist, so I had my friend add a hole to the belt so that I could make it tighter. It was $5. I'm not sure where the black one was from, but it was the perfect fit. It was $3.

This jean skirt is from American Eagle. It's the perfect fit, and it doesn't bunch up awkwardly anywhere. I love it, and it will be great for when my friends and I go country-western dancing. It was a steal at $6!

This is just a simple top from Abercrombie and Fitch. It's a pink and grey striped shirt. This was the most-worn item that I got, but it's still in great shape, and it's super comfy and cute with shorts or jeans! It was $8.

This shirt looks a LOT like the last one, but it's not. It was from Old Navy, and it's Pink and grey stripes on the top, then magenta and grey in the middle, and it ombre's down to purple and grey at the bottom. It's really comfy, and I think it will be great for fall. It was $5.

This sweater is from a boutique I think, but the tag wasn't on there. It is just black and white stripes, but it was $30 on clearance. With the Labor day sale, I bought it for $15, and it's literally brand new.

This is a grey long sleeved cardigan from the brand Dots. It has pockets and reminded me a LOT of my favorite black cardigan that I have. So I got it. It was $8.

This is a eggplant colored cardigan, I swear. It's from the brand Pink Rose, and it was super comfortable. It was on the clearance rack for $16, but with the Labor Day sale, it was $8.

This is another skin-tight dress that looked really good on me! It's from the brand Speechless from the line Lots of Love. It was $8.

This dress is one of my favorites. It fits me perfectly, and literally everyone that I've shown it too tells me how adorable it is! It's from the brand Bebop, and it's a black dress on top with a grey and black flowery print on the skirt. It's adorable!!! It was only $8 too!!!

Lastly, this is a dress that I picked up. It's from Hollister and it's a bright pink dress with light and medium blue flowers on it. It's also got a ruffle on the top and pockets on the skirt. It was $16, which is kind of expensive, but it looked so good that I couldn't pass it up!

In total, that is 15 clothing items, and two belts. That's a pretty great deal if I do say so myself! And a lot of items in there still have tags on them! I would definitely recommend checking Plato's Closet out! It's a great way to add some fun pieces to your wardrobe from brand name clothing companies without having to pay crazy cash for them!

Word to the wise: You really need to try things on there! Since the items are from a bunch of different brands, you can't assume you are the same size in everything! I was trying on anything that looked like it would fit, and the sizes that I ended up purchasing ranged from XS to a M. It really just depends. So, I would suggest just grabbing whatever off the racks that you think looks like something you'd wear, and they have some patience in the dressing rooms, trying the items on. I tried on probably about 60 things in all, and ended up getting this 15, so it really all depends.

Good luck finding some cool things! Comment below if you've ever shopped at Plato's closet, and let me know what your best find was!
