Monday Update: October 1st!

Happy first day of October! We only have 30 days until Halloween!!! Get excited!!!

I've had a busy Monday, and I'm only now getting this up, so I apologize that this is kind of last minute.

My weekend was good :) I went home on Friday, and I went to an orthodontist appointment, and then to a high school football game. Then, on Saturday I went to a fair, and it was super fun! I got some shopping done, and just overall had a great time. It rained on Friday and Saturday though, so we had about as much fun as we possibly could in the rain. Sunday, I flew back to college, and here I am Monday :)

I didn't get a chance to watch Castle tonight, nor the premiere of Once Upon A Time or Revenge (which both premiered Sunday). Overall, I'm super behind on television, and I wont have a chance to catch up for a while.

This week is going to suuuucccckkkkK! I have SO much due this week, and so much work that needs to get done while I'm going to late night rehearsals. It's not going to be a good week, and I apologize in advance if I am slacking. I usually write posts ahead of time so that I don't have to worry as much about them throughout the week, but I'm even behind on that. I'm just failing everything today...

Well, back to homework for me. If I'm lucky, I'll actually get some sleep tonight.

Monday Update: September 17th

What mood am I in? The tired mood. Can I just be done already with school? Or can we just go back to summer vacation but without the intense heat?
What color is on my nails right now? Wild Child nail sticker thingies from Sally Hansen that I just blogged about.
What did I do this weekend? I had a LOT of rehearsals that I was going to. I also had to study for two tests.  It really wasn't a super exciting weekend. I also had a show that we closed on Saturday, and we partied on hard on Saturday night. The theme of the party was "the seven deadly sins" which I thought was clever.
What's planned for this week? More rehearsals, plus I have to take the two tests on Tuesday. No bueno.
What am I looking forward to? The weekend. It's only Monday, and I'm already so tired. Plus, Castle premieres next Monday, so the closer I get to the weekend, the closer I get to my favorite show :)
What am I dreading? Those tests. I mean, who actually enjoys taking tests? Not me. Not at all...

Monday Update: September 10th

I need to get back in the swing of doing these Monday Updates! The whole college series really got me out of my routine.

Current mood: Relaxed, content.
What color are my nails? As I'm writing this, still the pink Essie polish that I blogged about. It's chipping though, so I think I might put something different on tonight. If so, there will be a blog post soon :)
What did I do this weekend? I relaxed and did homework. I did get a nice drive into town though, and I got some great deals on a couple of things that I was shopping for. We had really nice weather on Saturday too! All in all, it was a nice, relaxing weekend.
What's planned for this week? Rehearsals, work, a couple of extra curriculars, and then I have a paper due this Wednesday too. Busy as always!
What am I looking forward to? GLEE!! It premieres on Thursday!!!! I love watching that show!
What am I dreading? That paper due on Wednesday. It's my first paper for this class, and if you make more than 2 grammatical errors, you get an automatic F. Yeah, it's legit. Hopefully, I can get a good grade on it!

College Series Day 23: Monday Update

This is my first Monday that I've been in classes, and I wanted to give a little update.

I've been moved in for a while now, and classes started last Wednesday. Already, I know I'm going to have a lot of work to do. I did get into all the classes that I wanted though :)

I'm officially getting paid to work on campus! Yay! I'll have some income coming in, and I'll be able to hopefully do more reviews for you all!

Speaking of this blog, I haven't yet missed a day of posting my college series! I have been writing posts in advance though, and having them scheduled to upload on days that I know I'm going to be busy, so if you've noticed that all of my posts go up at a certain time, that's why.

I'm also already starting to plan out September's posts, so please let me know if there is anything you'd like to see! My college series is going to end when August ends, so it's fast approaching and I need ideas!

Overall, school is going well. My TV isn't working, and I haven't gotten a chance to get it fixed, which sucks,  but it's kind of okay for right now. I'm hanging in there. Sorry there isn't anything too eventful, but I've got some great things planned for you all in the upcoming month!

Monday, July 30th Update!

The theater camp that I was working on ended on Friday. This means nothing to you all most likely, but it should. It means that I'm soon going to be going back to college, but that I'll have a bunch more time in the next two weeks to spend on my blog with you guys :)

The only thing that is really planned for this week in my social life is a nice dinner with some theater friends from high school. Nothing else too exciting. Oh my social life right now...

But I am going to be heading back to school very shortly! I've already done some school shopping, and I'm very excited already :) I do think I am going to go ahead with a college series for this blog. I think it will be fun, and for those of you excited about college or already in college, it could be helpful.

I also received some fun things in the mail today, and I'm ordering a couple things that should also be arriving soon, so stay tuned this week!

Monday Update-July 23rd

This week is going to be an exciting week!

Today, Monday, I had a great surprise from one of my friends. When we were at the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises, we were talking about how amazing her costume was, and about upcoming premieres and costumes. We both agreed that we wanted to go to the Catching Fire premiere together. I told her I wanted to be Katniss and she and I began to plan out our costumes. Today, she came in to camp with a mockingjay pin that looks ah-may-zing! And the kicker is that SHE MADE IT herself! It was the perfect start to the week, even though today kind of sucked.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, I will get to spend the afternoon after camp with my friend from college who is in the area for the day (she lives 6 hours away from me). We are going bowling and then out to dinner! I'm so excited!!!

Wednesday and Thursday will just be regular old days, but Friday will be the last day of theater camp, at which point the kids that I've been working with will put on their play Friday night.

Saturday and on, I'll be packing back up for college and re-arranging my room before I leave. It will be a race against time, but hopefully I'll get everything done before I go back.

This past weekend has been kind of bad, though. I had my braces adjusted, and the rubber bands are killing me. But other than that, I can't complain. I have this week's blog posts all planned out (and I've been writing them ahead of time, to keep my sanity and to make sure they are up on time) so this should be an exciting week for you and I! Monday Update

I thought I would start doing a Monday Update. It can be about what happened today, what happened over the weekend, what is going on this week, or anything in general that I feel like sharing.

First off, my Julep Maven box came in the mail a couple of days ago!! I've already taken pictures of the products that I got, and I'm working on testing them out. There should be a blog post coming in a couple of days for that :)

Second, I burnt my foot today when I got into the shower. It still hurts, which is the only reason why I'm thinking about it. I think Monday Updates are quickly turning into "what random thought is on Katie's mind now?"

Third: This week, I'm going to the Dark Knight Rises premiere with a friend. I'm not a huge Batman fan at all but my friend is. I like Catwoman though, and my friends mean the world to me, so I agreed to go with my friend. I've only been to one midnight premiere before, and that was for Harry Potter 7 Part 2, and I just love the anticipation and excited feeling of midnight premieres. I'm actually really excited for Thursday night :)

Fourth: I'm tired, and I have a headache, but that isn't going to stop me from posting today (although that explains the lack of pictures for today's post...)! I'm super proud that I've kept up my goal of blogging every day in July. I just hope I can keep up with it in the next couple of days!
